At our core, we are all seeking the same things in life: meaning, fulfillment, healing, and the ability to live without fear and worry. What these things look like can vary tremendously, but ultimately, what we are all after is inner peace and happiness. But, navigating life’s difficulties can be challenging, and we all, at varying points in our lives, need help getting to the heart of our own journeys. As a therapist, I consider my role with clients to be their companion on this journey, creating spaces in which they feel safe and secure to lead their own growth. I believe that all people are equally deserving of opportunities to find their peace and meaning, and that it is never too late nor is any problem to big or small for solutions.
As a professional, I am a Licensed Master Social Worker who has served children, teens, adults, and families in school-based, residential, home, community, and outpatient settings. I have experience and education in treating depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues, family conflict, anger management, foster care/adoption issues, substance abuse, and challenging behaviors in young people. I understand that we are all individuals and that no one approach is best for everyone, and thus strive to treat each person uniquely. I meet people where they are and personally know the importance of feeling truly heard and understood. It is an honor to be allowed into my client’s lives, and I work my hardest to ensure that their goals are their own, and their journey is self-led. In my spare time, you can usually find me outside, playing with my dog, reading, or watching soccer.
